LM78L05AIM/NOPB

The LM78L05AIM/NOPB three-terminal positive regulator can provide a variety of fixed output voltages, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. LM78L05AIM/NOPB is used as a replacement for Zener diode and resistor combination, and usually provides two orders of magnitude improvement in effective output impedance and lower quiescent current. With sufficient heat dissipation, the regulator can provide 100mA of output current. A current limit is included to limit the peak output current to a safe value. Provide a safe area protection for the output transistor to limit internal power consumption.
